Pamela Dennis hails from New Jersey and studied Political Science at New York University.
Her career in fashion started when she got married. She designed her own wedding gown! From
there on, she started designing clothes and eventually founded Pamela Dennis, LLC.
She is well known for using luxurious and the best fabric from Italy and France and often
gets inspiration for a design from the fabric itself.
In an interview with Barr Boehlert for www.desires.com,
Barr Boehlert asked the designer what inspires her.
"Fabric. Definitely," Pamela Dennis answered. "Yesterday... I found the most beautiful
antique pillows in a gold and a celery color and as soon as I saw them I said, "Oh,
I want to make a gorgeous ballgown or a gorgeous fitted suit or a sexy cigarette pant with
matching shoes to wear with a cashmere sweater out of that fabric." I'm thrilled when I see a great fabric with
great texture."
"I also get inspired from old movies. I'm an old movie buff, whether it be
with Carole Lombard or Rita Hayworth or Ginger Rogers. I look at those movies and I get a
lot of ideas."
In her own words, Pamela Dennis admits that she loves the movies. And Hollywood loves her too!
Pamela Dennis, fashion designer to the stars. Her creations has been seen on the red carpet. The
