NEW YORK, Dec 12, 2002/ FW/ --- After her show last September during New York Fashion Week,
Patricia Field closed her legendary Greenwhich Village store.
Opened in 1966, Field's namesake boutique located at 10 E. 8th St. has been
an internationally-known shopping-institution for all those with a propensity
towards glittery nightlife garb.
Starting last month, the designer consolidated all her merchandise at her SoHo location,
Hotel Venus.
The now-enhanced space, located at 382 West Broadway, will be
called Patricia Field, instead of House of Field.
Along with all the rhinestone-studded accessories,
five-inch stilettos, club-kid clothing and colorful lingerie, the store will
continue to sell the Patricia Field label, Field's flaunt-it ready-to-wear line
designed by long-time associate David Dalrymple.
The collection, which debuted its Spring '03 line-up last September is favored by Kim Cattrall
and hip-hop star Eve, who modeled the clothes in the show.
