NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2001/ -- Tommy Hilfiger Corporation (NYSE: TOM)
announced today that it is launching Tommy Hilfiger "Woman," a large size
collection.
The line, which will be an extension of the existing women's
sportswear line, will debut at retail for the Fall 2001 season and will go
to market in March 2001.
Retailer demand, research and customer inquiries -- including numerous
requests addressed to the tommy.com website -- have reinforced the Tommy
Hilfiger Corporation's belief that there is a need for stylish, classic,
All-American options in the plus size market.

women's sportswear line, will allow Tommy Hilfiger to reach this category of
style-conscious customers in the market.
The design and styling will mirror the look of the existing women's line
-- classics with a twist and in colorful choices.
Available in sizes 14-22,
Tommy Hilfiger Woman will be the status brand for women who seek a youthful,
stylish look.
The line will offer top key items, balancing sensible basics
and fashion items.

signature button-down oxford shirts, pique polos, rugby knits logo tees and
sweaters, as well as selected outerwear styles.
