DALLAS, Aug 24, 2006/ FW/ -- Fresh from launching her new perfume, ‘Vera Wang Princess,’ New York-based designer Vera Wang is teaming up with Kohl’s Corporation to create ‘Very Vera by Vera Wang,’ a premium fashion and lifestyle brand that will be available exclusively at Kohl’s starting Fall 2007.
‘Very Vera by Vera Wang’ will offer sportswear, intimate apparel, handbag, leather accessories, jewelry, footwear, linens and towels. The brand is on a long-term license agreement with Kohl’s, wherein the department store will be the exclusive provider and marketer in the United States. ‘Very Vera by Vera Want’ will be sold on all Kohl’s stores around the country and will be available online at www.kohls.com
"The Very Vera by Vera Wang brand will retain my personal design sensibility of a relaxed effortless approach to fashion," Vera Wang said during the press conference yesterday in New York.
"I am thrilled to create a collection of creative lifestyle and apparel products for Kohl's. This new partnership with Kohl's, a company with incredible integrity and trust in the marketplace, is a true honor," Wang added.
Awarded the ‘Womenswear Designer of the Year’ in 2005 by the CFDA, Vera Wang’s vision of fashion is an aspirational world filled with sensuality and youthful sophistication.
