DALLAS, Apr 20, 2007 / FW --- Husband & wife design duo Han-hee Yoon and Jin-young Kang is giving their fans a hint of perfection with their Fall 2007 collection that is soft, delicate and lovely perfect for the metro princess who lives in every woman.

Metallic shades of gray, black and white with dashes of taupe and red, Y&Kei is more sartorial this season with their subtle curves bordering on romantic yet very modern.

Mini dresses with a faux drop down waist brought about with graphical appliqués, cigarette pants, and short-sleeve or three-quarter sleeves coats that sometimes come in ovate shapes, the look is sophisticated and the silhouette is deliciously slim.

Graphical shapes embroidered on the bodice and corset belts made of fabrics adorned the daywear. Two types of eveningwear were proposed – bare shouldered mini cocktail dresses that emphasized the waist, and floor length Empress Josephine gowns that showed a hint of the rise of the breast.

It’s sweetly alluring, though the words might sound contrasting. Still, this is Y&Kei who knows very well how to work with counterpoints, their design philosophy based on water and earth, two different elements that they expertly combine. Instead of clashing, Y&Kei keeps these two elements together, almost like yin & yang, wherein without the other, the whole is not complete.

So, the collection in its delicate loveliness has a touch of restrained mischievousness, giving it a certain playfulness that makes the collection charming and glamorous at the same time.
