NEW YORK, Sep 16, 2006/ FW/ --- Set in an all white abandon unfinished building, Yeohlee set the tone of her collection with the atmosphere. Being a rainy day, the white exposed raw walls were an off-set to the parade of old New Yorkers wearing black, Yeohlee is stating that white is the white for Spring/Summer 2007.
Not one true colour made it to the collection except an iridescent mirror hue of metallic blue.
Soft tailoring and round collars filled the collection. Minimalistic and comfortable were the hems and flows of dresses. Robe-like belting were seen on sweaters and trenches. Dressing coats are back in style in all white of course with soft rounded shoulders.
Dresses were caped and styled with small opera jackets. A pair of high waisted tuxedo pants brought diversity to the over exposed white. These tuxedo pants were in Yeohlee’s diverse mirror blue linen.
Beautiful, refined, tasteful and authentic is Yeohlee’s statements for the season.
Yeohlee’ collection is the one of the best shown at the UPS Hub thus far.
