Zapping SAO PAULO, Jun 22, 2004/ FW/--- Ethnic and multicultural are two words that best describes Zapping’s Spring 2005 collection.

It was like entering Disneylan’s “It’s A Small World” ride, but instead of dolls representing all the countries in the world, live models dressed in clothes inspired by a certain country or ethnic group are the ones you see.

The Japanese parasol held by a model wearing white walking shorts and white blouse, the obi was lower (as in the hip line) and part of the embellishment of the blouse, yet you know that the outfit is Japanese inspired.

Then there is the vertical striped blouse matched with an over the knee embroidered skirt, reminiscent of the Maya culture.

A denim mini skirt and striped blouse with the model wearing a hat inspired by the Dutch national costume is the entry from Europe.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that all the continents are represented! So, it’s a small world after all, that’s Zapping’s message. And a cute collection too!
