SAO PAULO, Jun 20, 2004/ FW/ --- Inspired by the movie Blue Lagoon starring Brooke Shields, the Spring 2005 Zoomp collection is about innocence, femininity and androgyny all rolled into one.

Using silk, denim and viscose as the main fabrics of choice, the collection though it has references to the 1970s has a very contemporary feel to it.

Minis sported asymmetrical hemlines, sometimes looked like cute peplums.

The bellbottom pants became wide-legged, even asymmetrical at times, while the hot pants became short shorts paired with tiny one-button jackets.

The beauty of the collection is in its execution. It’s not derivative. It’s more of giving an aura of the 1970s, but totally of the 2000s.
