Alexandra Lind is a native New York and grew up in Manhattan. She started making clothes for
herself when she was 16. She could not find something she liked at the stores and decided to
make one for herself. It was such a success, that people started noticing her own creations
and they started ordering from her.
Her clothes are structural and tailored, yet sexy, mixing it with provacative cut-outs, making
her clothes young and stylish and a favorite of the uptown crowd.
In 1999, she received the Spring 2000 Moet & Chandon Designer Debut Award, showing her collection
at New York Fashion Week.
For Fall 2001, she was chosen by Ford Motors to be one of the designers to participate in Ford
Fashion Focus.
