Nov 3, 2001/ FW/ --- Alice Roi built her Spring 2002 show around three transposable,
interweaving themes: Pilgrim, Amish Chic and Hard Candy Stripe.
There were two types of hairstyles that were created for her show - the Princess Leia look
from the first Star Wars Trilogy, and the more modern straight, no ear-length hair with
bangs.
And to get the hard candy stripe look (maybe?), the braided Princess Leia hair were two-tones,
brunette and blond.
Creating a certain look that would work for a three themes can be challenging. The hairstylist
was very successful in doing that with the Alice Roi show. Adding the wheat color baseball
cap to make the look a little bit more casual is an ingenious touch.
