NEW YORK, Sep 12, 2006/ FW/ --- Spring 2007 is all about non-colours. Instead of spring colours, designers are opting for more fall inspired natural non-colours. Alice Roi is leading that trend with her collection of barely there khakis, cements and yellows.

As the collection began for the corporate woman showcasing high double-waist skirts and lightweight trenches, it quickly transitioned to hip and more self-expressive garments.

Roi enjoys playing it safe and sticking to her conservative market, but she pushed the envelope by showing biker shorts and hot pants in knit and velour. Who knew that the biker short would be that piece to have next season? The biker shorts even come in a green on green stripe that will look great with the right legs and simple top for a casual day.

Her tops were key showcasing the trend of elbow length sleeves on a non-tailored outline. As the models saunter red, they started to look like vintage utilitarian flight attendance in their wrist gloves and rolled sleeves with large cuffs. Tops are all inspired by nightgowns and see through. A jumper dress was a great product mix for the collection.

Good leather goods were the pick-me-ups of the collection. Roi's usage of hard and patent leather was great. White purse hip pouches are the accessories to have.

The pouch hip purse is the first to be seen this season that makes Roi's conventional show on the cutting edge for the American market.

A particular over-sized white bag with a patent leather closure is definitely that power handbag to set on the conference table during any meeting.

With Alice Roi's great history with buyers and editors alike, I am sure that this season will be a great year for her sales especially for her accessories collection.
