MILAN, Oct 3, 2004/ FW/ --- A well-produced show with a great cast of models was presented by Spanish born designer, Amaya Arzuaga.
With an undeniable revisit of the 50’s, fluffy tulle skirts with full petticoats were todayish.
Large rose appliqués were attached to skirts and tops. Deep purple, white and nude tan looked dynamic on un-finished edge tops. It is all about the extra crouch Capri pants that looks great styled with a stiletto heel.
The trench dress in different lengths was a significant item along with the belted trench coach inspired tops in satin.
Large polka dot print chiffon tops flowed down the runway in red and white. Sexy cut out details on tops were sensual and sexy. Tight fitted cigarette pants looked sleek. Tying in her signature black, Arzuaga detailed black bathing suits with sequins layered with sheer black fitted shirt covers. Sleeveless black and white polka dot shirts with a blast of emerald green were innovative by combining Lycra on cotton.
The grand end of the show was dedicated to emerald green elegant tops and dresses. These garments were great basic 50’s cuts that could stand alone as a collection. Mixing in variations of the little black dress gave variety and depth to the collection.
Amaya Arzuaga is one of the best Spanish exports to Italy.
