Eveningwear designer Anne Bowen is know for her fresh and sexy silhoutte.
The Spring 2001 collection is sleek and modern with a raw edge.
Anne Bowen's strength lies on her discerning eye for fabric and draping.
She can create fluid almost unstructured gowns and dresses that look so fragile, it looks like it will fall
apart once the model moves.
On the other hand, she also creates clothes that are structured and very architectural.
Anne Bowen is a designer to watch. And although I seldom make predictions, on this one I will.
Anne Bowen is destined to be a favorite in Hollywood and fashionistas. (Disclosure: I was also
born and raised in the South, like Anne Bowen, so you could say that I might have a little regional preference.)
