Antoni & Alison took "Make statements with your clothes," literally.
"Cleopatra circa 2001 A.D." seem to be the theme of the Spring 2001 collection
of Antoni & Alison. Models were made up with dark kohl, emulating Cleopatra eyes.
Cleopatra with an attitude fit for the new millenium, clothes which were a mix of
1940s and 1980s inspiration were paraded on the runway. Messages read like
"Power to the People" and "Strange" appeared on the t-shirts.
Featuring simple cuts using prints and knitted wear, the collection was made up of gray, pink,
gold and silver.
