New York/ FW/ --- Designers should take a cue from Max Azria. He is both a fashion designer
and a businessman at the same time.
His collections continue to be a success season after season, while at the same time, his
business continue to thrive.
His Fall 2000 collection reflects the prescience he seems to have as a designer, he surely
could feel the pulse of his market.
From the luxurious knit blouses paired with leather skirts and/or pants, to the ethereal
gowns that look like an angel went down from heaven to cheer up our dull cities,
Max Azria's Fall 2000 collection is a sure hit.
Riding high on a very robust U.S. economy, Max Azria also showed fur coats and stoles. Using
his French sensibility and the American influence for comfort (after all, he has lived here
in the U.S. for over a decade), BCBG's fur collection is a statement of luxury without
being blatant about it. The furs sure looks warm for those cold fall nights and the winter
that follows.
