Maybe it's the French, or maybe it's just because he is a great designer.

Anything he put on the runway is a sure hit among his loyal fans, and every season, that number keeps on growing.

Fall 2003 is the maritime world for the Max Azria woman.

Cracker jack pants (yes, those cracker jacks, the nickname of the U.S. Navy dress uniforms) found themselves on the runway.

Pea coats and short-cropped jackets were there too.

Of course they're so much nicer and more fashionable than those sold at the Navy Uniform shops, but you get the hint.

Even the dresses are maritime inspired, though not necessarily something you will wear on the deck of a sailboat.

It's more like something which will be worn on the deck of a cruise ship.

The collection is really meant to go anywhere - from the city to the countryside during a cool autumn day.

Of particular interest in this collection are the accessories - shawls and muffler and the bags.

When Max Azria dresses up a woman, he makes sure that she has everything for all those little fashion emergencies.

For a very beautiful collection, saying Bravo Max Azria! seem not enough.
