NEW YORK, Feb 7, 2006/ FW/ --- With Vivica A. Fox, Lynn Whitfield and Paula Abdul and other notable celebrities sitting front row, Max Azria previewed his namesake collection that literally dressed his ladies ‘from head to toe.’
53 exits of wearable day and evening pieces came down one right after the other that would fit in a woman’s wardrobe from age 15 to 50; no wonder why Max Azria is so popular out on the market to practically all age groups.
Classic palettes of black, navy, grey, navy and mixing it up with bronze, rust, teal, plum and shades of brown were widely seen.
Loose fitting cardigans shown in cashmere and knit that can very easily go from day to evening as well as the various coats presented can all work very well with all the other pieces styled on the runway.
Using origami to highlight the dresses along with velvet appliqué, embroidery and lace to dresses that are not constricting but comfortable yet chic, elegant and sexy.
From the herringbone jacquard coat to the embroidered vest, the quilted coat and the reversible coat with fur lining, how can you go wrong?
Extra wide belts that resembles an obi some with embroidery were also highlighted as well as the patent boot, leather handbags, head scarves, knee high and eyewear to complete each look.
