BCBG stands for Bon Chic Bon Genre which means good style good attitude in French. It
certainly describes both the designer and the label.
Max Azria came to the U.S. in 1989 and founded BCBG. His chic designs and artful styling
has captured the interest and attention of both Hollywood stars and women who desired modern
and sophisticated apparel at prices below those of other high fashion labels.
BCBG true combination of European sophistication and American spirit. Since its
inception in 1989, BCBG Max Azria has been known for its signature collection of women's apparel.
It has also added shoes and handbags and cosmetics among its line of products.
BCBG Max Azria has been presenting his collection at New York Fashion Week since 1996.
For the turn of the millennium, the designer presented a collection with an eclectic
inspiration, yet it still the signature BCBG look of French influenced American fashion.
From the geometric prints and dashes of little flowers, to the beaded gowns and the
low-waisted skirts, Max Azria did not disappoint his fans.
This season, the designer also introduced his new line of shoes and boots. He also sent
bags to the runway.
