DALLAS, Nov 19, 2000/ FW/ --- A native New Yorker (born 1955) Ben de Lisi studied at the Pratt Institute of Fine Arts in Brooklyn.
He worked at New York's garment district before moving to London in 1982.
Five years later, he established his own company and made his debut as a scheduled show at
London Fashion Week in 1994.
That same year and the year after (1995), Ben de Lisi won the Most Glamorous Designer Award.
The two Glamour Awards he received from the British Fashion Council are well deserved.
Known for both his daywear and eveningwear, Ben de Lisi's attention to details and fabric treatment
make his clothes not only very wearable but sought after by women who wants a wardrobe that works.
Sleek, with an understated sexiness is Ben de Lisi's signature style.
Usually oozing with sex appeal, Ben de Lisi's eveningwear continually grace Hollywood's
red carpet.
The designer has also been acclaimed for his work on cashmere viscose knitwear.
