NEW YORK, Sep 9, 2002/ FW/ --- It's fashion for a cause. Fashion-mogul Calvin Klein opened his
Madison flagship store with a cocktail party in aid of the American Ballet.
As mentioned by Godfrey Deeny, there were a slew of celebrties - Harpers Bazaar's Glenda
Bailey, Blaine Trump, Diane Von Furstenberg and her husband Barry Diller, Serena Bass,
to name a few.
The party looked a like a gathering of the fashion who's who, but they were not able
to over-shadow the real star of the show - the store!
As expected, it is minimalist (Calvin Klein likes it that way).
Lots of space and oversized store windows.
The windows are so huge that there are actually "two levels" of display.
First, the expected mannequins at eye-level.
The coup de grace, the "floating" headless mannequin that is so eye-catching, observers
look up automatically.

Personally, the best display is the headless mannequin "sprawled" on a bench.
The mannequin might not have a face, but there is definitely sexual innuendos on its pose!
With Calvin Klein, you learn to expect the unexpected.
