French-born Catherine Malandrino was a design director at Diane Von Furstenberg before she launched her label under her own name.

Since opening a concession in Henry Bendels snazzy department stores in early 1999, this French designer turned New Yorker, has gone from strength to strength.

Go to any cool nightclub downtown New York and some groovester would be wearing one of her signature brightly colored Stetsons.

Known for her "rock chic" style, Catherine Malandrino has a great eye for color and detailing.
