NEW YORK, Feb 12, 2003/ FW/ --- DKI being part of the LVMH stable has a pleasant side
effect to Donna Karan.
Her designs are showing a tinge of Europe!
But don't think that DKNY has left New York, because the collection is still firmly
grounded to its namesake city.
Targeted for the young adults, DKNY shows the 'fun' side of Donna Karan, specially
in this collection.
Ms. Karan who is so fond of black and white and sombre colors outdid herself with
colors for DKNY Fall 2003.
Using pastels as her main colors, the models look like the Easter Bunny just delivered
them!
Yellow, green, red - the colors of the rainbow and of course black and white.
After all, these two non-colors are Donna Karan's favorites.
It was a little bit retro, a dash of Europe, a spoonful of New York and a cupful of
youthfulness.
Something college kids will go for and let's hope they do!
