NEW YORK, Feb 12, 2005 / FW - Showing a solid collection of 34 exits in all of very sexy pieces, Douglas Hannant took angels from heaven, brought them down to Gstaad and dressed them ready for fall/winter of 2005.
Heavenly and very sensual yet fresh looking pieces are what the designer cooked up for his very loyal and clients who sat front row during the show.
Soft hues of silver grey, dove grey, white snowball, winter wheat, frosted pink, pink, plum, ice blue and some gold were all included in his collection.
Rich luxe fabrics of lurex tweed, satin, cashmere/mink, sable, felted wool, velvet, suede, and chiffon were his choice for the season at hand.
And since the floppy hats had recently made a big comeback, he sported some of his pieces with his hats by Eric Javits not to forget the jewelry by Janis Savitt also for Douglas Hannant.
The embellishments were not over the top using sequin, beading, ostrich feather and Mongolian lamb/mink trim to highlight the ensemble enhancing them in all the right places.
Slimming cuts elongating the silhouette of a woman's curvaceous, beautiful, and sexy body.
Standouts include the silver grey lurex tweed shawl collar jacket and godet skirt, the ivory felted wool jacket with Mongolian lamb trim and cashmere trouser, the white mink wrap over pink tweed dress, the gold beaded tulle fringe gown and the white beaded ostrich feather gown.
A good solid showing for Douglas Hannant. Congratulations on such a wonderful collection!
