Emma Cook graduated in St. Martins with Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. And like
her classmates she made good and created her own style.
Stella McCartney brought new life to Chloe and Alexander McQueen revolutionized Givenchy. Emma Cook
went for "individuality."
Her creations are not marked by seasons. You can wear it over
and over again in the next five years. It's about the woman wearing it, and the fickleness of
fashion.
It's being in the inside looking in. The designs are not "classic." In fact, they look
"raw," but there is beauty and a hint of being a classic in the near future. It's sexy
and shy at the same time.
There is no one word to describe Emma Cook's creation because there is
none. They are on a league of their own!
She made her debut at the London scheduled show during the Spring 2001 season.
A former consultant for Ghost, Martine Sitbon and Liberty fabrics, her hand
painted and embellished pieces have a cult following among independent fashion followers
