Tanya Sarne's Ghost is well known for its trademark garment-dyed vintage-look viscose and
ultra feminine garments. It's clothes are created by women for women. In this high-tech world
and liberated women, Ghost tends to differ with coming out with a gentle feel, mixing
function and sensitivity.
As Tanya Sarne put it in the company website, "I appreciate womens bodies. The fact that there are no hard lines.
I understand the importance of how fabrics feel against the skin. My aim is to give women confidence in their
femininity." This sums up Ghost's design philosophy.
After being away from the runways for two years, Ghost is back at London Fashion Week with the Fall 2001 season. And
the new designer for Ghost, Amy Roberts already had a positive response from the press and retail buyers during
her first season with the company.
