Sponsored by Teen Magazine, Girls Rule is the only stage at New York Fashion Week that
caters to the booming teen market. Every season, the show previews the work of six designers,
all of them catering to the booming teen market.
Technically a group show, I personally consider the Girls Rule! presentation as a subgroup at
New York Fashion Week. All shows, except this one and (probably YM Mega Denim) are geared to
the twenty-something and above.
The brainchild of Oliver Dow and Darren Greenblatt, Girls Rule! celebrated it's 16th season at
7th on Sixth during Fall 2002 shows.
