Jasper Conran: Diamonds Are A Lad's Best Friend

MILAN, Jul 1, 2004/ FW/ --- In life every man desires to have a faithful best friend who will bring them joy and vitality. Jasper Conran (see photo at left) is giving men the ultimate buddy of jewels.

The show began by rocking the house with a 60’s hit music with an eccentric flare inspired by Elvis cool looks and modern deviations.

This Glam-Rock collection opened with navy, orange and red suits with printed silk shirts and matching kerchiefs.

Gaining more inspiration from The King, models wore perfectly slicked hair with a bump and curl front. Indigo denim jeans and silk cashmere tipped vest adoring blue suede shoes kept the atmosphere alive.

Not only does this modern day rocker party hard, but he also exercises in the best red silk jersey crystal boxer’s shorts and sits poolside in red and pink chequer-board print briefs with sky-cashmere pointelle zip-through cardigans.

The evening gives an entire different look for the Conran man. He is an even a bigger rock legend by night wearing primrose silk suits with leopard and snake skin print silk georgette shirts. The suits ranged in colours of storm blue to hot pink pin stripes and canary yellow.

Any stars closet is not complete without a few large diamond rings for stage presence and shiny diamond timepieces and bracelets for general purpose use. Every icon of rock must go out with a BANG, and what better way to end a career or long day than to parlay in a white silk and crystal hooded gown. With this high impact lively show Jasper Conrad is making great marks among his new Italian audience.
