DALLAS, Nov 11, 2000/ FW/ --- Jasper Conran clothes are sharp, sleek and gorgeous.
Well-known for his signature black & white collection, his definition of the little black dress
for Spring 2001 is the nostalgic look of the 1950s and the 1960s.
The British Fashion Council has called him a "classicist," and rightly so.
Using classic lines and cuts for his collections, a Jasper Conran ensemble is elegance
and chic personified.
For Spring 2001, the designer wowed the audience with his micro-minis and knit bikinis
on one end of the spectrum.
On the other end, his eveningwear shimmered in the same sorbet shades and of course, in black &
white!
From the beach to the opera, Jasper Conran's Spring 2001 collection has a girl covered, or
"uncovered."
