LONDON, Sep 25, 2004/ FW/ – Her slick well cut and precise style still lives on, with the four person design team behind the English time piece in fashion for Jean Muir, presenting a spring summer 2005 collection in a bright yet measured color palette that moves between, cool whites, lemon twists, orange tangs and pinks.
The Muir look may not be adorned with gadgets and frills, but this is where, and perhaps why they continue to go from strength to strength among their respected and faithful clientele.
Sartorial, soft and feminine. Hemlines do not go above the knee and single buttoned structured jackets sit on the hips, enhancing female curves through cut and simplicity.
Classical in taste and style, this wardrobe fit for both city and countryside ladies moves between the softest suede’s to silks with ease. Box pleat skirts and defined overcoats fall to the knee exposing the slightest detail through choice perforation of the fabric.
Thin belts accentuate waistlines as do tidy drawstrings on both light shirts and summer dresses with only the slightest sparkle in decorated collars.
Neat and sophisticated, Muir is a label that aristocrats even in this crazy ultra modern century still choose to wear, proving that touch and feel are just as, if not more important than flashy date fast clothes.
