Jimmy Choo Fall 2005
Milan Womenswear Show Fall 2005

Jimmy Choo: A Russian Gypsy
By Randal Jacobs

Jimmy Choo MILAN, Mar 9, 2005/ FW/ --- Jimmy Choo is giving us fun and eclectic for next season. Many of the fur boots were inspired by Russian winters including all rabbit fur boots and soft suede moccasins reminiscent of Native Americans.

Although very fun for daytime, but their night time pumps are full of metallic snakeskin knee high boots and sexy beaded sandals. The jewels on the sandals were giving a modern gypsy affect teamed with other exotic stones around ankle straps with fine leather soles.

Now designed by his niece Sandra Choo and her friend Tamara Melin, the Jimmy Choo collection is authentically city trendy for the woman who is fashion forward and confident.

Along with these fantastic shoes were of course some of Choo’s signature handbags. Matching with the blank white fur boots, there was a cute tote with the same motif.

Some of the night time clutches were in silver and gold metallics that were sophisticated yet fun. One particular clutch is more for daytime which has a strap that wraps around the hand tightly.

There was a superb collection of snakeskin tie-dyed bags. Almost orgasmic to look at, these bags were sensational in finish and shape. A simple half rounded slouch shape in three different sizes made these bags fantastic.

Other soft leather bags were in powdered turquoise and berry red. The intricate details of the bags alone are phenomenal with suede insides and invisible magnet clasps.

With the U.S. being their largest market, the Milanese will surely catch on to this accessory giant and their will be more of a demand of Jimmy Choo specialty stores in Europe.
