Jimmy Choo: Moroccan Nights
By Randal Jacobs
MILAN, Oct 3, 2004/ FW / --- Jimmy Choo delights in a journey through the red city grabbing
everyday ethnic essentials and putting them on its signature leather goods.
Mosaic prints in bright colors decorated with Moroccan hardware is what Jimmy Choo, as designed by Sandra Choi, is all about for Spring / Summer 2005.
Sandra Choi’s handbag collection is full of the softest leathers of pale green, pistachio, raspberry and white. The classic JC7 has been detailed with hand stitching and offered this season in a selection of colors.
Small metallic clutches will look very chic with the new weekend line of slippers in white, silver and gold metallic. This collection has pushed the limits with skins of leopard and Napa embroidery.
Jimmy Choo also is introducing a small collection of leather goods. These 15 different designs will make your compact and credit card tracking more beautiful. The new accessory pieces will look great going inside of the jade, orange, yellow and tan with golden lock Tulita and Tahula handbags next season.
Jimmy Choo's line of shoes for next season is using a lot of ornamentation from everyday life in Morocco. We will see tassel ropes and turquoise jewellery all over flats and heels.
Wedge heels in chocolate will look elegant with a simple black dress. 110 mm platform heels with spaghetti straps will make you dance the night away. Metal and glass beads on sandals as well as strappy metallic and jeweled shoes will be just right. Ornate buckles and abstract patterns in contrasting tones will make any outfit come to life.
With this homogeneous and beautiful collection, Jimmy Choo is sticking to its roots of producing great classic works of art.
