Lloyd Klein wanted to be an architect, but he fell in love with fashion when he attended his
first fashion show. So instead of drawing bridges and buildings, he started drawing clothes.
His architecture background shows in the integrity and structure of his designs.
Lloyd Klein proved that you can mix the two loves of your life.
A protege of Maison Gres, Lloyd Klein's strength lies in intricate Greco fabric draping. The
French Press has referenced Lloyd Klein as "the only designer who has truly mastered the draping
techniques that were known as Gres"
Lloyd Klein has been presenting his couture and pret-a-porter collections in Paris. He
debuted at 7th on Sixth during the Spring 2001 season. Although based in Paris, Lloyd
Klein makes frequent visits to his homes in Hollywood and New York.
He shares his time in his two studios - Paris and Los Angeles.
