There had been whispers in the London fashion circle for Marjan Djodjov Pejoski as the "name to
watch" even before his first official runway show. Spring 2001 is his debut at London Fashion
Week, but his graduation show at St. Martins was so daring, he caught the eyes of the press and the
fashionistas worldwide. And they were not disappointed with what they saw!
His Spring 2001 show was loosely based on "Alice in Wonderland," with a twist and very
adult, compared to the children story. There was the "bunny", and the "playing cards",
and the cartoon characters. But my, oh my! It's Alice in Las Vegas Wonderland!
Sexy, edgy with 1980s influence, the show's featured the rabbit head worn as a top, fishnet dress with
a revealing buttock, and an owl worn as a bikini bottom.
