That should not be surprising to those who know Mark Montano who started his fashion career with a grant from The National Endowment for the Arts to design costumes for the Tier Throne Dance Company in New York.

With his entrepreneural skills, Mark Montano opened a boutique in 1989 in New York's East Village. He successfully translated his design skills to the needs of individual clients.

In 1998, Mark Montano hit the Vienna runway with his Couture Collection and in 1999, he presented at 7th on Sixth. In 2002, he represented the U.S. at the New Delhi Fashion Week.

Mark Montano studied at the Colorado State University and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Nicknamed "King of Downtown Glamour," Mark Montano is a master of techniques in tailoring and cutting. His clothes are always superbly cut and includes exquisite detailing.
