Michiko Koshino's YWCA

I think it was the hats and the quasi-military outfits which included boxy jackets and gold
mini skirts.
They reminded me of the 1970s. And although the models definitely look better
than the Village People, the ambience was definitely the club scene of the 1970s.
Michicko Koshino updated the looks - slim line trousers that rode low on the hips, one of the
hottest looks during this season.
The 1970s bell bottoms became wide leg jeans covered with
Eastern prints and John Travolta's white outfit at Saturday Night Fever became a printed suit
of burnt orange and yellow. Even the parka's look was updated.
What really catches your eye in this collection are the hats - from fur to the band's majorette,
Michiko Koshino made them look appealing and coveted.
The fur hats look warm for those winter
nights when you are out gallivanting in town.
Despite the fact that this collection is more for the club-going set, there are lots of
wearable items that the fashionistas will find interesting.
My favorite is the magenta skirt
and top set trimmed with fur.
