Originally from Ohio, Nanette Lepore calls herself a "gypsy." Call
her romantic! She says that she "felt like a little gypsy when she drove with her parents
on Route 66 when she was a kid."
So, how did she end up in fashion? Because it was meant to
be! She studied at Parsons Institute and opened a design studio and showroom at the heart
of New York's fashion district.
Known for her very feminine style and fine detailing, Nanette Lepore's clothes are very wearable and
a favorite by both the uptown and downtown crowds.
It's no wonder that her collections are sold at
Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Dayton Hudson, Marshall Field's, Jacobson's,
Parisian, Nordstrom and Henri Bendel to name a few.
