DALLAS, Mar 20, 2002/ FW/ --- I'm a Star Trek fan and our photographers know it!So, when Jeri Ryan showed up at the front row of Oscar De La Renta, they obliged me with several photographs of 'Seven Of Nine' without the Borg® paraphernalia.
It's refreshing to see Jeri Ryan without the Borg® implants, which of course a lot of viewers
see nowadays at Boston Public where she "moved" after Star Trek's Voyager ended its seven-year run.
Having Kim Catrall (famous for her Samantha Jones role in HBO's "Sex and The City") at the front row
also, sort of made it Star Trek babes night for me.
Very few people know or remember (unless you are die hard Trekker) that Kim Cattral played
a Vulcan in the Star Trek movie, "Undiscovered Country."
For a sci-fi genre, Star Trek hires a lot of babes, don't you think so?
Of course, Oscar De La Renta attracted a lot of celebrities.
And during this season where celebrity sightings
are few and far between (it seems that almost of them went to the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City),
seeing a lot of famous faces at the front row is a real treat.
Barbara Walters was there and so was Princess Alexandra von Furstenberg.
And who could have missed Marcia Gay Harden? Her role at "Space Cowboys" might be a supporting one,
but it was surely memorable.
Of course, I love her most at "Meet Joe Black," where she played Anthony Hopkins' older daughter.
She was funny and sweet, and played the older daughter/big sister role very well.
Great attendees Oscar!
