MILAN, Sep 29, 2005/ FW/ – Milan’s architectonically astounding stock market saw Versace glamour this evening as Donatella Versace transformed the sultry Milanese night sky into a spectacle of moving desert clouds and dreams of imaginary journeys.
Versace begins the trip in Palm Springs in a colour palette that eliminates black and is sun drenched in shades of gold to orange and lilac flowers to white before touching on night skies and sparkling stars.
Trousers are streamline and straight, jean like and tight while jackets linger between the desert safari soft leather bomber and sartorial distinct Versace cuts of precision hinting at more masculine lines.
Little shorts are matched with flowing tops and sexy transparency before taking a pit stop in Hollywood and lazing by a glamorous swimming pool in daring cut away seventies inspired swimwear of electric blue to recall the sky.
Slim silhouettes are sensual and feminine dressed in pencil skirts that flare with fishtails hem to flatten the curves.
The torso is enhanced and elongated in a recollection of retired Hollywood divas that wear flouncy soft skirts on dresses or long crystal encrusted gathers and drapes that fall across their body in alluring poetry.
The accessories for next summer are nothing short of divine with the new Canyon bag and jewel encrusted heels.
The heat rises from the sand giving visions of loveliness and movement for the woman who adores all that glitters and believes in looking nothing but pure splendor even if in the harsh desert, but perhaps then again it’s the blinding light of all those night lit Palm Springs golf courses.
