Gianni Versace MILAN, Jan 15, 2007/ FW/ --- Aesthetically pleasing with a generous dash of impeccable tailoring, the Gianni Versace Fall 2007 collection is for the 21st century man who embraces the fluidity of the current fashion while he still dabbles in the classic looks.

As already have been mentioned in this website, the fashion forecast for menswear is the seeming duality of the male of the species as he experiments with new silhouettes yet refuse to let go of his classic wardrobe simply because he is just getting used to the change in this new century and millennium.

Donatella Versace understood this very well, her senses attuned to the dichotomous socio-political climate around the globe. Sticking to her recently launched Versace aesthetics, Donatella raised the bar higher by adding a white thin line on the shirt collar or embellishing the bodice with a diagonal obi-wide stripes and created a bow tie in two colors and putting a white diagonal stripe on the cummerbund.

Coats are double breasted with a short standing collar very similar to those worn by the religious clergy. Yet, there is no austere feeling except in the clear silhouettes. Instead, the feeling is opulent with richness in spirit.

It will be hard to define the Versace man this coming Fall 2007, and if someone would hazard a guess, Donatella planned it that way. Because, a touch of mystery gives a sense of sexiness, something that the Versace man has always been amply gifted.
