PARIS, Oct 3, 2002/ --- Kate Moss, the waifish supermodel who spawned a million imitators, is on her way back to being a waif once again.

On Sunday morning Moss gave birth to her first child, a girl named Lola weighing in at a respectable six-and-a-half pounds.

Moss, 28, was taken to St. John and Elizabeth Hospital in the St. John's Wood district of London on Friday afternoon.

She and boyfriend Jefferson Hack had been having lunch beforehand at a Greek restaurant with thespian friends Jude Law and Sadie Frost (who welcomed their own new bundle of joy earlier this month).

Both Frost and Hack, the baby's father, were reportedly at the birth.

Hack, who is editorial director of Dazed & Confused and editor-in-chief of Another Magazine, has been absent from the current round of Milan shows, his seat being filled by Creative Director Alex Wiederin.
