Bush to Be Featured in 2002 National Advertising Campaign for Tommy Jeans

The face for Tommy Jeans Spring 2002 is presidential niece Lauren Bush.
Bush who is an Elite Model has been featured in Tommy Hilfiger regional fashion shows
in both the U.S. and Europe. Recently declared "the most glamorous member of America's most
powerful family" by Vogue, Lauren Bush is quickly gaining much attention in the
fashion world.
She has graced the covers of W(April 2002),Town and Country and
Tatler and has been featured in Vogue, W, Talk and Harper's Bazaar.
For Spring 2002, Tommy Jeans celebrations the all-American sensibility and love
of Nantucket. Set by the docks at a perfect weekend getaway on the beautiful island,
the campaign highlights rising model Lauren Bush and marks the beginning of her
two-year modeling contract for the Tommy Jeans collection.
On the announcemnet, Tommy Hilfiger quotes, "Lauren is the quintessential all-American girl
and is the perfect face for the Tommy Jeans campaign. Besides her
natural beauty, she is charming, full of energy and exudes a certain
sophistication. Her qualities embody the spirit of American youth, which is
exactly what I was looking for to represent the Jeans collection."
Lauren Bush who is still in high school and currently applying for college admissions
this fall commented, I am truly excited about representing a company like Tommy Hilfiger.
I think they are not only a company with great clothes, but also a perfect match with my
own style."
The Texas native has donated some of her modeling proceeds to various children's and
animal charities and plans to donate a portion of her earnings from the Jeans
campaign to the Twin Towers Fund and Kipp Academy. She also plans to study businees
theater arts. In her spare time, she manages to enjoy her teenage life and spend time with
friends while living in Texas.
