Mar 6, 2002/ FW/ --- Last October, Muscle & Fitness Hers held its first-ever
cover model contest in which readers were encouraged to submit photos and their biographies
for a chance to appear on an upcoming cover of the magazine.
From thousands of entries received, two finalists and eight runners-up were chosen.
All these women were selected on the basis of their unique biographies,
outstanding physiques and commitment to fitness in their daily lives.
From a Marine Corps veteran (Casey) to a single mom who juggles owning a business and
finishing her degree (Hampton), all of them serve as worthy role models for
today's active, fit female.
The finalists are:

- Kathy Feldman, Charlotte, NC
The runners-up are:
- Susanna Casey, San Diego, CA
- Tara Hampton, Marshall, MI
- Natalie Hunt, Lexington, KY
- Heidi Heidel, North Hollywood, CA
- Stacy Saddler, Edison, NJ
- September Luketz, Gig Harbor, WA
- Jenna Bellamy, Blacklick, OH
- Jill Ashley Adams, Monroe, LA
Chang appears on the cover of the April/May issue (on sale March 5), and
shares a workout with co-finalist Feldman on page 110. The runners-up are
pictured on page 14.
