DALLAS, Apr 21, 2004/ FW/ --- Now that the Fall 2004 season is officially over (Australia is showing its Spring 2005 collections early next month), it’s time to look at the models who dominated the catwalk during the last three months.
Karolina Kurkova (photo at left) – From New York to Paris to Milan, this statuesque blond is the favorite of the fashion designers, journalists and photographers. Standing at 5’11, this Czech Republic native who turns 20 this year, is one of the most highly paid catwalkers at the moment.
Tiiu Kiuk – A native of Estonia, this ethereal beauty started treading the catwalk in Milan at 15. Now, at 16, she had modeled for almost all the top fashion houses from New York, Paris and Milan.
Gerren Taylor – From Santa Monica CA, Gerren is the youngest model ever signed at 12. Now 13, standing 5’11 with dark brown hair and brown eyes, she
celebrated her second runway season in New York and Los Angeles.
Gemma Ward – This 16-year old from Perth, Australia has everything that would make a top model. Standing at 5’10 with blonde hair and blue eyes, Fall 2004 was her first season in New York. During the Spring 2004 season, she walked exclusively for Prada and Miu Miu in Milan.
Hana Soukopova – She won the first edition of 'Top Model of the New Millennium' contest in May 2001 in the Czech Republic and has not stopped working since then. Garnering international fame when she was the face for a Gucci campaign, she had also graced Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
