LOS ANGELES, Sep 4, 2005/ FW/ --- To a fashion model or a celebrity, doing an advertising campaign means big professional fees. The same holds true for Meg Ryan and Kiefer Sutherland headlining the latest ‘Baume & Mercier and Me,’ but with one big difference- the totality of their respective image royalties have been directly donated to charity.

Two of the most recognizable faces on the planet, Meg Ryan and Kiefer Sutherland have found time in their hectic career schedules for humanitarian causes - -- the education of underprivileged children, the fight against cancer and the protection of the environment.

Benefiting charities are:

  • Prostate Cancer Foundation, which is the largest international philanthropic association is dedicated to the research and development of treatments and cures for this illness

  • Doctors without Borders, the largest independent international organization, created in 1971 by French doctors, fulfils the mission of providing rapid and effective aid to all public health emergencies.
