LOS ANGELES, Aug 3, 2005/ FW/ --- We know her best as host of Bravo’s ‘Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model.’ Starting this fall, we will see more of Carmen Electra as the Ohio-born actress represents Max Factor Cosmetics.
In an announcement today by P&G Beauty, parent company of Max Factor, Carmen Electra has signed a contract with the cosmetics giant to be the face of the brand across marketing vehicles, including television and print, public relations and interactive.
Founded in 1909 by Max Factor, the century-old company has been the favorite of Hollywood. Mr. Factor himself developed the celebrity endorsement concept, beginning with Clara Bow in the 1920s.
As the face of Max Factor, Carmen Electra follows the footsteps of Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe, Jean Harlow, Jaclyn Smith and Denise Richards, who have all represented the Brand.
"It's an honor to be a part of such a legendary group of stars representing Max Factor, such as Rita Hayworth and Marilyn Monroe," said Carmen Electra. "I'm so excited to start working on the campaign."
Expect to see Miss Electra on TV, print and online campaigns for Max Factor. And if you cannot get enough of her, you will also see her on the big screen with ‘Nothing But The Truth,’ which is already in postproduction.
Carmen Electra is also currently filming the sequel of Steve Martin’s hit movie, ‘Cheaper By The Dozen.’
