Anna Wintour, Vogue's ediatrix will deliver the commencement address to FIT's Class of 2003. Approximately 2600 students will receive their degrees from the New York-based college.

Fashion designer Calvin Klein, who is a member of FIT's Class of 1963 will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree. He launched his own label in 1968 and catapulted to fame during the 1970s when he won three consecutive Coty Awards.

Considered an advertising genius and media marketer, he became a household word with his TV advertising starring Brooke Shields who quoted, "There is nothing between me and my Calvin's" seen on a very provocative pose.

Dubbed 'Calvin the Conqueror' by Women's Wear Daily and listed as one of America's 25 most influential people by Time magazine, Calvin Klein has helped shape the casual wear industry and played a key role in modern advertising.

Anna Wintour, the 53-year old Vogue ediatrix joined Conde Nast in 1986 as Creative Director of Vogue. In 1986, she returned to her native England to take the post as Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue. In 1988, she came back to New York to take her current position as Editor-in-Chief of U.S. Vogue.

This year, during the 2003 CFDA Fashion Awards which will be held on June 2 at The New York Public Library, Ms. Wintour will be confered with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her consistent, creative influence and dedication to fashion.
