E! Style Covers New York Fashion Week On Live TV
New York Fashion Week Spring 2002
LOS ANGELES, Sep 1, 2001/ --- It's official!
E! Style has been chosen as the broadcast television network of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Style, the fashion, beauty, home and entertainment network will bring the catwalks across the nation.
Everyday, from September 7 to September 15, style will dedicate two and a half
hours of daily programming to bring New York Fashion Week Spring 2002 in your living room.
Stephen Concrota, Senior Vice President of E! Networks and the Head of Programming for Style made the
announcement. "We're thrilled to have put together such talented and vibrant team to cover Fashion Week
this year," said Concrota. "Our new hosts are well known within the industry and now Style viewers
across the country have the chance to meet the very best in the business."
From fashion show footage and backstage interviews with designers and celebrities, style will give viewers
access to everything going on under the tents at Bryant Park. It will give viewers an in-depth look on Fashion
Week. Krista Herman will anchor the show, joining the audience from Chum City in Toronto where she anchorered
and covered the fashion fashion beat for E! Networks.
Handling co-anchor duties is Lloyd Boston who will also give a style commentary and report trends emerging
from the shows.
Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Michelle Behennah will cover backstage and designer and celebrity interviews.
Jane Buckingham will be the on-site correspondent, reporting trends and offer insight on how what's hot on the
runways will influence fashion, beauty and color trends for Spring 2002.
