London Hosts Biggest Fashion & Beauty Exhibition
Jan 31, 2003/ FW / --- With Britain's continuing passion and interest in all aspects of ethnic culture and design, and the continuing influence of Asian style on current fashion trends, over 20,000 people are expected to attend the country's biggest Asian fashion and beauty event in London this weekend.
Exhibitors from all over the country are preparing for one of the most significant dates in the lead up to India Fashion Week, The Asian Wedding Exhibition, showcasing the very best of East and West fashion and beauty at Wembley's Exhibition Halls.
With top international designers displaying next season's collections using the finest fabrics, the exhibition is a must-see for stylists, fashion journalists and mainstream designers who use this exclusive show to research style trends and forecast next season's looks. Catwalk shows throughout the weekend will highlight the most cutting edge designs from the sub continent.
The exhibition will also see the launch of 'Provoke', the eagerly awaited make-up range by Zaynab, international make-up artist, whose unique and innovative make-up techniques have appeared on catwalks and leading Bollywood films for over 10 years.
The Asian Wedding Exhibition is an opulent celebration of fashion and style with over 200 wedding professionals participating in the show, from jewellery to fashion, beauty, catering, florists, photographers and venues, this is the only destination for husbands and wives to be.
The show, which is now in its ninth year, is the brainchild of style guru Yogesh Kanani who comments: "The fashion shows are delivered to the highest standard to inspire the brides, grooms and the rest of the family to look radiant on their most memorable day."
The Asian Wedding Exhibition 2003 will take place 10.00am to 7.00pm on Saturday
February 1st and 10.00 am to 6.00pm on Sunday 2nd February at Wembley Exhibition Hall 2.
