SYDNEY, Mar 3, 2004/ FW/ --- Tomorrow, 5 young designers will showcase their Spring 2005 collections at the W6RDS collaborative fashion event here in Sydney.
As part of Mercedes Australian Fashion Week, Alpha 60, Ammo, Obus, Preston Zly and Tina Borg unite once again to share their commitment to creative and individual designs.
Sponsored by Lucid, a joint initiative of the Victorian Streetlife program and the Cities of Yarra and Melbourne, the runway show will be held at the Uber Bar and Argyle Function Centre in The Rocks, Sydney at 8:30 PM.
The Tina Borg label was launched in 1997 and had become well known for its union of soft and hard elements within strong clean lines, evoking androgynous and playful aura resulting in timeless pieces.
Five-year old ammo is about modern femininity without following trends. Impossible to confine by age or style, ammo’s use of unique fabric and unusual combinations of color and print makes it for everyone.
Menswear label Alpha 60 came into the scene only last year, but it had gained a loyal following with its strong printed graphics on shirts. Slowly evolving into a full menswear line, the basis of its collection is still signature Alpha 60 style of combined graphics of girls and ghosts.
