SYDNEY, May 3, 2004/ FW/ --- Helena Christensen (see left photo) sat front row as the who’s who of Sydney’s in the know
fashion types turned out to sneak a look at what Jason Brunsdon is capable of.
No disappointments in sight as he set his first solo show to the powerful voices of opera
that passionately accompanied his ‘prima donna’ down the runway.
Hair pulled high in true deity style, volume found skirts and draping necklines in a color
palette of earth tones and gold before hints of purple and soft greens.
Rope sandals are his ultimate accessories like the gold belts that tie perfectly around
the waist accentuating the female form.
Sensual, yet ladylike as is his 1950’s stylized motif that appears on t-shirts and the backdrop.
Ruffles are used on hemlines and not excessively as the womanly silhouette remains trim
in satin pants and well to do mini jackets giving us a rewarding collection which found
the right mix between softness and female expression.
